Facebook App TaskNoodle Created by Two Columbus Residents

I first saw this writeup about TaskNoodle on TechLife Columbus – an excellent source of Ohio, regional and national entrepreneurial and technology related news and events.  I think TashNoodle is a great example of the creative ingenuity we are blessed with in Central Ohio.

Two friends in the Columbus area, Daryl Kulak and Steve Sarafa, decided that if all these Silicon Valley types could create apps for the new platforms like Facebook, iPhone, Android and Twitter, so could they. They put a little money together, hired a few developers and got busy.

The result was TaskNoodle, a social to-do list app that helps people get things accomplished with their Facebook friends. It's often hard to coordinate preparations for social activities like parties, cookouts, reunions or moving into a new house. You need to know what needs to be done and who's doing it. With TaskNoodle, you can coordinate everything using Facebook. Get your list of tasks together, invite friends through Facebook, and see things getting accomplished in real-time.

TaskNoodle is tightly integrated with Facebook. The app allows you to invite your friends easily, and every time you get a task done, you can post it to your Facebook wall if you wish.

“Facebook apps until now have been mainly games,” says Daryl Kulak, co-founder. “TaskNoodle isn't a game, but it is fun. TaskNoodle uses a unique graphical “cards on a wall” metaphor for your tasks. You can move your cards from column-to-column to show that they've been completed. The cards are brightly colored and move around with the touch of a mouse.”

“If you are overwhelmed by trying to think of all the tasks ahead of you, we've created special in TaskNoodle,” says Steve Sarafa, co-founder. “You can use a pre-made template with dozens of tasks for special occasions like a child's birthday party, a family reunion, a house move and many others.”

Soon, Daryl and Steve will have mobile versions of TaskNoodle. You can access TaskNoodle free by clicking here:
