Discovering Your Sweet Spot

Scott Fay’s Discover Your Sweet Spot takes you on a journey of discovery through the eyes of a man who traveled his own journey of highs and lows and now lives in his Sweet Spot.  Scott has identified 7 clear steps for designing, building, and maintaining a life of significance. Discover Your Sweet Spot is about creating a “purposeful you” that enables you to grow exponentially, live at a level of significance most only dream about, and influence others to do the same.

Sweet Spot Scott Fay
I had the good fortune of meeting and getting to know Scott at a conference where he spoke about his life and learning to live in the intersection of purpose, passion and plan. Scott is man who lives his journey, influences those around him and is now publishing this book so that others can live their Sweet Spot too. I was fortunate to receive a pre-release copy of Discover Your Sweet Spot as a gift from Scott.

Scott Fay Sweet SpotMy favorite quote comes from when Scott was near his lowest point, and words spoken by his mentor Roy Rood in time proved true. “You bring something special to the table. And if you are willing to go through the process, the table has something special for you” (page 56).

Years later, Scott is living proof of the table’s blessing predicted by Mr. Rood. He had to learn and then accept what the table offered as he lived his journey of Sweet Spot discovery. Scott lives at this bountiful table and multiplies its blessing by giving away what is not his to keep. Scott’s Sweet Spot legacy will be found in the people he invests in and influences as he generously pours his life into his family, employees and mentees. He makes it clear that readers, if willing to go through their own process, can reach their Sweet Spot too.

Scott Fay Sweet SpotScott includes a short group of discussion questions at the end of Discover Your Sweet Spot. Three good examples are: “What am I accepting as normal that I should reject?”; What are the good or bad things in my life that are taking time away from the best things?”; and “Do those closest to me reflect my core values and social contract?”

Scott's questions will serve as a reminder of each of the 7 steps and as a vehicle to make this book a personal instrument for identifying and journeying to your Sweet Spot. Use the questions on your own or even better, work through them with a Mastermind group.

Studying and applying Discover Your Sweet Spot will help you experience the coming year from the vantage point of your own Sweet Spot. Take this journey with Scott. At the end of this year, you’ll look forward to the next year with high expectations and look back, reflect, and say that it your “best ever”.
